When the Green Toilet becomes full of compost, it is changed to an empty container. While the other container is in use, the other can rest aside composting further. By the time the second container becomes full, the first one is ready with composting process, and the container can again change place.
Not only is the Green Toilet Easy a batch composting toilet, it is also a self-contained which means that it can easily be installed directly on floor level. This system does not require any space below floor-level.
The Green Toilet Easy utilizes a double base design to effectively separate surplus liquids from the compost, enhancing the composting process and minimizing odors. Unlike in urine-diverting toilets, with the Green Toilet 100 Easy all waste, including toilet paper is deposited into a single container. On contrary to our other self-contained batch composting toilets, Tiny-Pod and Oz-e-Pod, the Green Toilet 100 Easy does not have an inner container for the compost. Instead, the whole container is rolled out using wheels when servicing the toilet.

Use of Green Toilet 100 Easy
The Green Toilet 100 Easy is used similar to a normal flush toilet with exception that it is not flushed. With the Green Toilet Easy, all waste goes into to single unified container that has a double base at the bottom separating excess urine (= urine that is not absorbed into the compost mass). The separation of urine is important for moisture balance keeping the toilet odorless and pleasant to use. Toilet papers can be tossed to the toilet as well, but any other trash containing plastic will need to be put into a separate trash bin.
For optimal composting, addition of organic bulking materials (like peat or hemp) after each use is recommended. Alternatively, bulking material can be added greater amount for example once a week. Excess liquid, managed through a dedicated hose, can be collected into a canister or filtered using a special dry toilet filter.
For indoor setups, the inclusion of an electrical duct fan is advised to maintain an odorless environment.
