The spare container for the Green Toilet 330 composting toilet system increases the capacity of the system to handle solid waste. The basic package includes two Green Toilet 330 composting containers, but especially in public / commercial use it is not uncommon to see three or more containers being utilized.
With spare containers, the capacity of the system can infinitely increased. When a composting container in use fills up of solid waste, it is pulled out, sealed and set aside to undergo further composting process. The full container is replaced by an empty spare container.

Green Toilet 330 Spare Container
The Green Toilet 330 spare container increases capacity of the Green Toilet composting system. Particularly in family settings, one spare container is typically sufficient, but for higher usage scenarios such as touristic sites and public toilets, adding more containers easily expands the system's capacity, making it virtually unlimited. There are public toilets operated by the Green Toilet 330 that have hundreds of daily users.
The spare container of Green Toilets eliminates the need to directly handle or shovel raw toilet waste.
Use
When the actively in use Green Toilet reaches its capacity, it's simply replaced with an empty spare container. The full container is set aside for further composting process. The use of an empty container is started by adding a layer of dry material approximately 3 inches thick to the spare container before putting it into use. The system features a ventilation hat on the lid of the spare container to ensure proper aeration of the composting mass. Wheels are transferred to the container that needs to be moved.
The composting process takes 6-18 months, varying with climate conditions. Optimally, full spare container is recommended to be stored in a sunny area to enhance composting efficiency. Stirring the contents periodically can also improve decomposition. The Green Toilet system is designed to withstand freezing temperatures without damage.
